Seattle Art Walk Awards People’s Choice Nomination … and art party with free beer (what?)

The City Arts Summer Art Walk Awards will take place on August 22 at 1927 Events from 7-10 PM. This is a free event, sponsored by Blue Moon. All art will be on display, and they are awarding three cash prizes, $1250, $500 and $250 to the top three Audience Favorites from the evening. Each person who attends gets one vote. Beer is courtesy of City Arts and Blue Moon- cash bar also available, 21+.

New Mode of Transportation

I’m still doing well so far on the path towards never owning a car (mostly, because I’m cheap) BUT … I do have some new(ish) wheels!

Aren’t they amazing? Courtesy of Value Village. All trips to the post office and grocery store will now be this much more exciting: all orders from the etsy shop will now officially be partly transported via these little beauties. Art on roller skates? Heck yeah! Now to find a matching helmet… hmmm.
