Oh my god. I am so excited to be taking part in a group show at GR2 down in Los Angeles! The art will be going out in the mail tomorrow, and I hate seeing it go!

GAME OVER art show at Giant Robot!

Here’s my contribution to the Game Over video game-themed art show taking place at Giant Robot’s GR2 next month, from June 2 – June 27 (2063 Sawtelle Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035).

Though I’ve played through a few games in my day, this time I chose not to go the fan-art route (though that would have been fun, also!), but to try and illustrate the cozy feeling of being in PJs – snacks, drinks, weapons and power-ups at the ready, getting lost in a tangle of cords though OF COURSE we have newfangled wireless gadgets now.

Dragon painting finished!

The painting I’m working on for the Giant Robot Lunar New Year show is finished! Now to pack it up and ship it down to LA!
