So… this was more than two weeks ago, but here are some pictures from this semester’s graduating class BFA thesis show, which was well-attended and well stocked with delicious food. Our good friend Cori even made a treacherous drive through the snow from Boise to visit!

I’ve been invited by the talented Dmitry Kopytin to work on his magazine-cover project, “Black Toad“, which will be exhibited in Russia. This is quite the ambitious project, with a good number of talkented artists, and I’m very honored to be able to be a part of it. Here is my contribution:
I come from a world of legends and miracles. I come from a hut. A castle. The clouds. Raised by the oracle, the wisest woman in the world; raised by love itself. In the forest, in the fire, in the origin. I saw, I felt, I tasted and came… to realize and was floored. I do not write. My words are too weak for the senses. I was brought up in wonder, in stars and in puzzles. In agony and orgasmic pleasure. In desperation I seek immersion – just a grain of sand – and it is yours.
…now if only I could remember what the hell I was talking about!

…since I haven’t posted lately. I’ve been working on making frames and getting plexiglass cut for the upcoming thesis exhibition. Also cutting more flowers!
Great news! I’m doing some more work with the Lilac City Roller Girls out of Spokane, which means: more drawings of badass roller girls! Ink on bristol, yet to be colored. This is meant to be loosely based off of this Hack Slash cover.
