Seattle Art Walk Awards People’s Choice Nomination … and art party with free beer (what?)

For my facebook friends, I’m apologizing now, since I already mentioned this there, but I’m just so excited –

I’m so grateful to Twilight Gallery for nominating one of my fabric collage drawings, “Night Crawlers” for the Seattle Art Walk Awards People’s choice! Thank you also to everyone who’s voted for me already! If you’d like to vote, follow this link here (I’m number 5!): http://cityartsonline.com/summer-art-walk-awards-peoples-choice-voting-0
Thank you so much!

VIZ ORG Fudge the World Party

Okay, a note on the f-word. As harsh as it may sound, here’s my personal interpretation:

“World, you are crazy. You’re all over the place; you’re incredible and disgraceful and I’ll take all the bad with the good. I really am enamored with you. Let’s make babies!”

Viz Org August First Friday!!

So, last night was great, despite a scare there were no thunderstorms, there was a great turnout and this time we had boxed red wine! Hmm. The variety of art was great – there was collage, sculpture, acrylic, watercolor, digital work, jigsaw wood cutouts, drawing, insects, great music, and better people.
